1. Get Grounded with Meditation
Getting grounded with meditation can help you be present in the moment and own your magic. This is a great way to feel calmer, more focused and reconnect with your self. Apps like Headspace and Calm can help you with this.
2. Recharge in a Dedicated Space
Create a dedicated space in your home where you can recharge yourself. Find a corner of your home and fill it with all the things that make you happy. Decorate with comfy pillows, plants, candles,...whatever will make it a happy place for you. This can be where you go to read a book, journal, light candles, diffuse essential oils, meditate, do yoga....whatever will help you recharge and own your magic.
3. Set Boundaries
To own our magic we have to protect our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. We have to protect our energy and we do this by setting boundaries. Don't let the negative people drain your energy. Say no. We have to decide who deserves our time and energy and who doesn't. We have to choose the peaceful, healthy and safe environments if we really want to own our magic.
4. Be Present in the Moment
We're so busy rushing from one thing to the next, checking off our to do lists. Busy is no longer a badge of honor. Stop being so busy and take in the moment. What if you stopped for a minute and just took a deep breathe. Just looked around you and took it all in. Notice the sights, the sounds, the smells. Be present in the right now and own your magic.
